Day off work thanks to the snow in central Scotland.

I was supposed to be working outdoors today, but have cancelled. Thought I'd get a bit of ED time but all four kids schools are closed, so no doubt I'll be forced out to aid in sledging!

Please don't underestimate the hardships and privations here in London. Waitrose are already running dangerously low on balsamic vinegar and are completely out of quinoa.

Forget prayers, send supplies!

(See everyone in the black, safe flying, safer out and obouting, take good care, as appropriate o7)

Ah - no escape for me. Snow in the office - work from home - better facilities and warmer - no 2 hour commute - win win.

Bugg.... ..Blast.... scheduled maintenance... drat and double drat....

How very dare *they*.... ...those cheeky scallywags will be updating 3.0 next....

Here I sit.
My joystick come unstuck,
my HOTAS become cold as.

Beyond the pane flurries.
The coffee dark as space,
my mood becalmed.

The hands tick.
My clock talks time,
come server, hurry be mine!

Also in Scotland. However the last 20 years I was in MN and I still have my Sorels, my snowshoes, my cross-country skis and enough gear for "real" cold weather to be sweltering and sweating if I were to wear it here :)

Sold the snowmobile and snowblower before I left though. Haven't missed either until the last couple of days when I would have liked to fire up the sled and bounce over a few hills at stupid speeds.
