As the title suggests, could dazzle shell have a side effect of wiping out night vision for a short period (with maybe a cooldown period too)? Night vision makes combat much easier (to identify gloomy ships by eye is much more difficult). It might have interesting tactical implications (suddenly having your image enhancement wiped in a night side asteroid field during combat), and it does fit the remit of the weapon (degrading sensor acuity).

Personally I wouldn't particularly enjoy being dazzled constantly.
Dazzle the sensors, yes. But not my view.
Unless dazzle only effects night vision.
Otherwise, it'll be another cheap move, like reverski, packhounds and healies, And I won't stick around to entertain them.
Admittedly, I like using packhounds. Lol

You expect FDev to buff it to counter night vision, when it can't even hide the attacker from the sensors? Unrealistic.
