Engineers Deactivated thrusters

Deactivated thrusters after powerdistributer modification any idea how to bring it online again?

At a guess you got hit by a negative effect on a low level mod that tipped you over the edge on power requirements.
I expect you'll need to update your auto power management options in the right hand panel, or do some minor utility/module changes to compensate.
Prime candidates are turning off things like cargo hatch and fuel scoop when weapons are deployed by setting them to priority 3
.
The change I've been making on several ships is to ditch an A0 shield booster for a point defence module instead.
This helps two ways. With the notable missile buffs the point defence is now a useful module and it frees up a little power for other things. Obviously my shield power isn't as good, but everything is a compromise on ship builds when power is limited.

Quit game then run Elite 1.6, not 2.1 Horizon. Thrusters will get online, then you can again quit game and back to the Horizon.

Your thrusters deactivate when you are on a planetary base. Hit Launch then thrust up to start them up again.

This will cause many to be baffled. If it's nothing to do with the Modding and Power Management Priorty settings then why would Thrusters shut off on Planets? How did you notice - was it by looking at the Module to best adjust after Modding or did you here noises to suggest they went off?
MODs - Can FD fix it so it behaves the same as in space to "help" ppl.

If there is a "fix" then it should be to add this method of launching to space rather than take it away from planets.
