Hi Commanders !
I want to organize a racing league, but cant do it alone myself so if you find this interesting and want to take a part in it, you are more than welcome to join !
I have send a number of PM's to various group commanders and recived very good feedback so i think it is time to organize a group.
As for members - you can be member of other groups, Emp/Fed/All/Ind , doesnt really matters - this group is for fun and hobby.
The name "Deadly Boost Racing League" is just for now and can change if you will have better idea.
There are basic of racing that can be changed as well if anyone have some ideas please share them.
This is how i see it :
1. Prize.
- I place 60%, II place 30% and III place 10% of total prize pool,
- Prize pool :
- I am willing to donate 100 t. of gold every week, (so 1 milion Cr at the start)
- other donators,
- players who want to take part in race need to contribute 1t of gold, which will go to prize pool.
2. Rules.
- 20 km from start position there is no rules (the point is that players will not start killing each other at the start of race)
3. Race route.
- every player will have cargo scan (cargo need to be empty)
- start near some station so players will be mass locked
- I station - players need to go buy some cheap good at the station (not a start station)
- asteroid fields / rings , there will be 3 ships (A,B,C) separate 3km one from other so we will have 6 km distance from A to C ship, players need to fly from A to C within 600m distance from each of ships - A,B,C
- II station players need to go buy some cheap good at the station
- main star Nav Bacon, there will be 3 ships (A,B,C) separate 6km one from other so we will have 12 km distance from A to C ship, players need to fly from A to C within 600m distance from each of ships - A,B,C
- end line at the start station, eg. end line can be ring of the station , plyers will have to fly through the ring.
At the end cargo will be scanned again if players bought these goods at stations I and II.
4. Race systems.
My idea is to have 8 systems , 2 for each faction Empire, Federation, Alliance, and Independent so race will be in the same system every 8 weeks.
All of locations need to be nice looking, so systems need to be chosen.
We can ask Sidewinder radio for cooperation, youtubers to take part of just film it, and whoever will film it will put film to download so everyone can make movie from whole race.
We can put race to be announced on GalNet News and so on.
There can be additional awards for best promo movie from race.
Two more things:
- of course at the end line players can shoot each other
- every week race will be in different system so players who took a part in previous races will dont have advantage, we will have race in the same system every 8 weeks.
This is my proposition, please say what you think.
Of course i can not do it only by myself so if you like the idea, are willing to donate prize pool or awards pool for best promo movie,or have some suggestions, or just want to help with organization please share you view and join to organisation group !
I am not a CEO, president, king of sht like that so we will talk about our ideas and vote them, i want to work as a group of people who love idea, not as some dictator so dont worry !
