Horizons Dear Audio team:

Can we get the radio chatter at station turned up? I didn't even notice this until I stopped my ship outside a station accidentally.

It adds a lot of "life" to the game, we just can't hear it. I'm not talking about the Station "tower" voice, I'm talking about the stuff that's going on in the background. Same applies to whatever audio is in the background that's too low to notice. You guys worked hard on it, make it so we can hear it please.

While I'm at it, can we turn down the SRV engine noise? If it's already an option someone tell me where. It's a PITA trying to hear the scanner while moving.

ED has the best audio I've ever heard in any game, any platform, ever I just feel a lot of it is covered up by the vehicle noise.

That's interesting. I'm not in-game but now you've said that I know exactly what you mean but when in-game I don't notice it. Probably because it's too low as you say. Doesn't the Sound FX setting have any effect on it? I would have thought it'd be classed as sound fx. But yes. I agree.

Would be nice to have an option to tune the chatter volume manually, just like HUD brightness.
It'd make both sides, those who want the chatter to be louder and those that want the opposite, happy.

In future that could be remade into a radio "station" (y'know those that cops use in their cars?) once more voiced chatter introduced in the game(between station->security; security/pirates/trader NPCs->CMDR).

Yeah, I like to imagine what could be in future game features :p

I spend too much time imagining what could be in ED, but you know, FD is making progress. Even if it is painfully slow to me.

The audio mix is currently a bit broken (missing alarms 'n stuff), so give that another listen when they get around to fixing it.

While you're at it, how about some more (variable) SFX when jumping between systems ? I've got so used to the underwater-y SFX that I can tell exactly when I'm going to drop out by the sound that's playing.

How is that something that should be changed? Flying by hearing can be massively useful, it enables trained reactions for one.

Because it's incredibly repetitive and boring. Every jump sounds EXACTLY the same? Really?

Not saying they couldn't have a distinct 'end of jump upcoming' sound, just that the bit between entering and exiting could be variable.

I guess a few handsful of subtle environmental sounds would be a nice little touch.

Back in the beta, hyperspace used to be an ASMR experience, one of the effects was placed in the mix in a way that always made me think the outside door was opened.
