Engineers Dear FD, Fool me once shame on you...

I can see engineers needing that special rare something for certain upgrades - like the scan data from high waking ships. However, the one thing that they should not be asking for are basic elements that can be bought relatively cheaply. Nickel, iron, yttrium, tin, arsenic - why the hell are the engineers asking me to get these basic things? I can pretty much legally order almost everything that I am forced to collect using the SRV.

on that subject, why even need the data at all? To me that makes less sense than the basic elements.

if I want to tweak, tune, or calibrate some engineering equipment that needs data, say the tuning frequency or specifc wave pattern, why does customer #1014 need to bring the same data when the engineer already has it? Is file copying a lost technology in ED 3301?

data is only rare once - when you don't have a copy of it.

just to correct someone, in diablo 3 the dungeons are randomly generated. most means levels are not same. but some mean its a large open area and the actual objects and encounters in them are random instead of random layout of rooms and corridors.

and diablo 3 a hardcore character has one life and you lose it you are dead and cannot play that character. all you see is the ghost on the select screen unless deleted. they have changed the difficulty now - with the reaper of souls edition its dynamic scaling to your level, instead of you needing to pick the precise levels and then monster difficulty. but it is a... not dumbing down, but a move to general practise. games are all moving (except elite dangerous) to being all designed very similarly.

Is that like the adaptive logic AI that SJA has been saying she wants to implement next?

Yup. Yes it is. Clever girl :D

i'm referring to this sort of things:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Diablo/comments/3rxn71/dying_in_a_set_dungeon_doesnt_kill_a_hardcore/

...and just googled to see message on the diablo forum of player reporting a bug, of character getting wiped when they die in a set dungeon. So i'm guess it is a feature of D 3 but sometime bugged :p (as the wipe was counted as a bug)

http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/20742234088

so i may just be correct :) if people wanna to research it more, i guess they can
