So when 2.1 hit, several CQC loadouts got nerfed into being useless from being niche loadouts.
1. The eagle heat sinks got reduced from 3 to 2. I understand that change for the main game, however in CQC the heatsink is basically the only counter measure available to eagles and it is not stackable like on FDLs in the main game. So the defensive capability got reduced by 1/3 on the eagle.
2. Silent running heat increase. Again I understand that you can stack heat sinks in the main game and keep your heat low with that. In CQC only the eagle has heat sinks and you can't even run heat sinks and silent running at once. Only a handful of players (myself included) were running silent running but with the nerf the ability has become useless (I really tried to make it work, but its just insane how fast the heat builds without having any other ability to cool down). There are already plenty of downsides to silent running (no shields, no loss of lock, etc).
3. The increase in projectile speed in the main game was NOT implemented in CQC. In the main game the cannon rounds got a speed increase to make them more viable in the main game. In CQC the rounds are so slow you can evade them very easily, the same goes for the rapid cannon. The rounds are anything but rapid.
So in short all the nerfs got applied to CQC, none of the buffs which greatly reduces the number of viable builds. Really the only viable builds in CQC have hit scan weapons, everything else is just an annoying or something experienced players use when they get tired of seal clubbing the newbies. So please undo the nerfs for CQC and apply the buffs to CQC to make more viable builds available to your players.
