Dear FDEVS: I want a DARK GALAXY SKYBOX!!!!(ironic want) :)

Hi,
Sorry for the bad english, but I'd like to discuss about the galaxy colors used in ED.

We all know that the images we used to see in the web regarding our milky way are over exposed and post processed (even the NASA images).
What i'd like to see in ED is a milky way that looks as real as possible...without all that red and blue dust everywhere and the galactic core so visible.
I was flying around sol, and even if i camp around the earth orbit this frikkin red and blue blob follow me into an unnatural way . :)
i already tweak the bloom effect in graphicconfiguration document, but this removed only the bloom, not the overall ''presence'' of the dust.

Would be great having a gamma slider JUST for the skybok background, just because setting the options gamma slider at min. doesn't solve the problem.
Plus if your gamma is set to 0, you loose a lot of lights details in planets and stations.

The overall balance between galaxy skybox and object in game seems wrong IMO, so allow players to selecting the appropriate setting would be great.

Am i the only one noticing this? any thoughs?

"I want never gets" or so mum mum used to say :)

personally i like the current colours but I don't see any issue with allowing players to adjust the settings. Obviously with the caveat that it doesn't give any form of game advantage.

I WANT is ironic...i hope you understand :)

and wearing glasses is not an option for the already explained reasons in the first post ;)

And yes, it give me the advantage of not look at night sky while smoking and see red and blue dust everywhere :D

you need to change the colour setting on your monitor, my space is black, proper black, with the blue only showing in very small patches when im very far from the systems star.
You need to make a choice between black space and more detail in the dust.

yeah thats just you.
i mean im glad its not like "no mans sky" space like god himself spilled his watercolor set.
but if it was just stars.....eh, no thanks im glad FD took some artistic initiative.
its pretty fun flying around the Pleiades nebula too....

I'd be ok without dust details, but without loosing brightness.
Just out of curiosity, what are your gamma settings? i guess at min...

I don't get your point:
I was talking about the Skybox (milky way and dust) not celestial bodies (stars, planets nebulae etc)
I think just the Milky way is over exposed and oversaturated, not the other stuff.
