Dear Frontier-Team,
Planet Coaster 1 only got so big because of the incredibly large and loyal PC community. The Steam Workshop has set records with the number of parts/blueprints (400,000+
). I would estimate that 80-90% of people will play Planet Coaster 2 on the PC. Nevertheless, the focus is entirely on console with the menus, the UI and the workshop. Why should we PC gamers now get a mobile game-like menu in management? Why such ugly giant buttons and totally empty surfaces across the whole screen??? Why no transparent, modern, movable overviews where you can still see the park in the background? Why does everything disappear when I search for roller coasters or rides? Why can't you see it all at a glance? More information could have been displayed optionally. That's really several steps backwards and many PC gamers are annoyed about it. Please display the roller coasters and rides completely again like the blueprints. The PC version must be optimized for us in terms of overview and operation. Strategy and construction games are primarily PC games!
I'm specifically not buying the game for my PS5. Can't the management overviews be displayed smaller in the middle of the screen for the PC, so that the park can still be seen around it? Maybe slightly transparent? Movable and variable in size would be a dream, but probably no longer feasible.
And a quick note on the workshop: how are 100,000+ blueprints, assets and props supposed to be displayed and searched for in a clearly sorted manner later on??? Or will there never be props like with the toolkit just because of the consoles? That would also be fatal, because parks live from details like parking lots or backstage areas for employees or lockers for entrance areas. Or do you provide cars, buses, shelves, pallets, garbage bags, racks, wheelbarrows, lockers, etc. (Planet Zoo has everything)? I hope you think about ATMs, the viewing point, the barriers so that guests don't have to walk through everything.
One final request: please watch Rudi Rennkamel's video about the menu that always fades out when building. Why was this changed??? Everything takes twice as long this way. Please make sure you adjust it before release, thank you
!
I have played Planco1 from the first version up to today with all DLCs and am really looking forward to part 2 with a lot of new innovations (pathsystem, brushtool and scaling!!)

All the best
Rusty
