A survey is usually a representative sample of the community. In addition, the majority of people do not have enough evil spirit to take a role of a thief. The large majority had chosen to explore the galaxy. This is a major component of the game

It does not repressent people who arep laying and dont give a penny bout forum.
Majority of people ussually doin verry selfish things - ALWAYS. Majority f people wants to live for sure, but it doesnt represents what they will do.
Exploring does not mean end to a violence, look what happen after Chrisopher Columbus.
But I understand where You comming with that ... I agree there will be less crazyness, as we get space to breath.

The risks will be too large. And as in real life, it will take of courage to deviate from the straight and narrow

In 2013 there were estimated 5000 pirates in total which is 0.0000714% of the earths estimated population.
Same % in ED = less than 1. All the others are 'alleged' griefers. Lol.
