Dear Senator Patreus

You owe me a freaking ship. I dropped everything to head to Durius and help the great Empire, but on my way there, I run into a really bad streak of 5 brown stars and a white dwarf which left me stranded in the middle of nowhere with no help from anybody since the distress beacon has been disabled. I waited and waited until a NPC came about and since he was headed towards something I decided to follow him, maybe to an outpost? Slim chance since I know at least stations show up in a system which I usually have no clue about.
Followed this dude as I saw him dropping out of SC next to planet, but he only did it because he got too close to the freaking rock and I killed him out of anger. Back to supercruise where I pretty much checked every USS in hope of some small chance of refuel. NONE, fuel tank run out eventually and the ship just dropped out of SC and I was left there hearing my breath, counting the minutes until the inevitable doom.

Anyways, spawned back at the station and heading back again, this time choosing my path carefully. I just arrived into the system and I'm concerned about your reasoning and mental health. A three star system with two small outposts so far away from them anybody could own them. War over this? I'm really starting to loose my faith in you sir.

Did I mention you owe me a freaking ship?

It's quite a strange choice to place a player event in a system like this which is a complete back water nothing place.

I quite disagree. Its quite realistic to see most of the "trouble" in the outskirts of a domain (specially one that close to the federation).
Politically, also, its better for the senator to make trouble not so close to "home".

You nailed it my friend. The Emperor is still alive after all. They are going in circles now. Waiting, like vultures.
