So yesterday I tried to stealthily enter a space station at high speed in my Cobra full of tobacco and slaves. Alas, I ended up space dust as I completely misaligned myself with the entry.
Thankfully I had enough money for a rebuying, but when I went to buy more cargo I realised my holds were full still! Of... Tobacco and slaves!!
I suppose some people would feel like this was a great thing, but I have to say, I was quite disappointed to realise that death as a trader is almost inconsequential (if you have enough money for a rebuy). I had come to terms with my loss, laughed it off as a lesson learned and a hilarious tale to tell the grandkids one day, and was ready to face the universe anew, until I realised I can just pick up where I left off before I died. It all suddenly feels a bit meaningless.
Well, I'm going to go cash in this magical respawning cargo and continue on my slightly less exciting travels now, but I'm wondering if anyone feels the same way about this?
