POSTPONED UNTIL SUNDAY 30th DUE SOME PLAYERS ISSUES WITH 3.02

So you've got your shiny new Cobra Mk III and been posing outside the windows of the Thargoid and Fer de Lance, hitting boost, whenever you see a chica glance your way. But do you dare risk losing it in manly combat???

Join us Sunday 30th at 8pm GMT for the 3rd round skirmish between the Empire and the Federation.

Location: Iota Cruxis: Contested Space.

Hopefully we will have had the 3.2 update by then, but even if not, I think the networking and stability is at a stage where we can have a truly epic experience.

I haven't asked them personally, but I assume Kroy and Gen-Han-Solo will not mind making their Teamspeak channels available again.

Rules are as before, dont open fire on anyone who has not yet had a chance to declare their loyalty. i.e. if they are not red, no shooty shooty.

BE THERE OR BE ELSEWHERE :D

Whats all this about teamspeak? Not used it before, is there a public server or invite only? Are people on there every evening or just events?

If you are Alpha backer you can use Kroy's channel. Gen-Han-Solo makes his channels available for everyone. There are others, but I'm not sure if they are private, so I have not published them.

People were on most evenings. Personally speaking, i have not been using them recently because of the bandwidth issues with Alpha 3.

Definitely look into it. Think it's open source. Enables you to meet other CMDRs and look out for each other.

Yes my teamspeak is available as always please feel free to use it when every you like it is an open invitation , the teamspeak only supports Elite dangerous and has lots of group channels .
If a few Commanders reply to the post's for the teamspeak server's it will make them easier for people to find . I also have the IP on my visitor page .

Postponement

Due to the issues many seem to be having with 3.2, the Overlords have decided to postpone the carnage for 1 week.

The event is now on the Sunday 30th, assuming an update addresses the issues of the testers with excessive problems. However, if anyone wants to join this week as well, I will be there tomorrow as originally planned at 8pm GMT - Sorry for the inconvenience

You see Gir, Exaga has lost the plot, what happens to mindless Fed types who hide behind asteroids(Asteroid fever) they stay there so long they forget who the enemy is and go stir crazy! :p

yeah it would look that way, feel kinda sorry for the poor Fed maybe we should put him out of his misery :D

Heh i've been imperial since I first fought an imp courier in Fe2 on the amiga though i prefered th 4mw Beam on mine Come second round beta i'll have a rig fuelled by a hex core i7 and 2 Geforce 770's with full occulus rift setup ..Hopefully... need abut 6 weeks to build it with work...
