PSA: Warning. There are unshielded Asp Explorers in Deciat. Repeat, unshielded Asp Explorers in Deciat.

I don't know if it's a show of faith in the PS4 community, an indication that many console users don't bother with the forums/reddit/etc. or just ballsy explorers. But there they are, out there in Open - and I resisted the urge to engage an pledged PP enemy - I even considered hanging about to see if they managed to jump away - but Mamba needed experimentals!

When I re-emerged minutes later... three Kraits, a Vulture, and another Mamba - all clean, no Asp debris to be seen. I did, however, find it hard not to wait around for the Vulture to launch - SC Assist & Docking Computer, in a Vulture... I understand how that might trigger some people, it just looked wrong.

I try to ignore how other cmdrs play their way, as long as it doesn't impact my own play-way.

There's an element of players who think if you can't fly your ship manually, then you aren't playing the game correctly.
SC assist, Docking computer, and for some FAon are noob-crutches, and should be removed from the game.
It's a double-sin if you're using any of those in a combat ship.

I will add that when silent running was a meta (back in 2.1?) people often flew unshielded ships, and you'd regularly see combat Asps without shields. It was like the dakka-ship before the Fed Funship got added.

Note: that's not my opinion (see post 2 above: "Play your way")
