Decisions, descisions... what shall I do for the weekend?

Okay, so now 2.3 has dropped. Last night and this morning I engineered all the Sensors and Surface Scanners on my fleet, as I'd already gathered all the required materials and parked everything at Achenar in preparation.

Now I'm planning on flying out to Colonia in an Asp, and then transporting three ships, a Cobra, a Python and a Federal Corvette, out there so I can enjoy being away from the main bubble for a few months.

But... and here's the rub. It's three days or so of game play to fly out the 22,000ly to Colonia. If I leave today I'll arrive on Friday or Saturday, but it then takes three days to transport the ships, which leaves me with just an Asp (and no real choices for gameplay) over the whole Bank Holiday weekend.

The alternatives are pootling around in the bubble until Saturday, or perhaps early next week, and flying out then. The trouble is there's not that much to do in the bubble either at the moment, and I looked back at last Easter's Community Goals, and they were a bit Meh!

So what do you all think? Head out now, do some more passenger missions to build up more cash, or spend a few days or the whole weekend discovering asteroid bases, science stations, mega ships, and capital ship docks?

Three days of fun, versus three days spent watching loading screens...

Unless they really did improve jump Transition times, I wouldn't bother with Colonia. It's basically the bubble, but with less to do, if forum threads are any indication.
