Quantities aside, could we have an option instead of selling / storing an engineered module to liquefy down a module into its base engineering materials? Or, when we say 'remove mod' we get some of the materials spent on it back?
Aye. Anything that allows/encourages experimentation outside of the 3rd party ship building sites would be great. As it is new players fall foul of the many terrible mod options available simply because they sound good on paper.
Another good change would be to balance mods so that there aren't always 1 - 2 clear best-in-class choices for every module... but that's a whole 'nother keg of worms.
Just sold;
Krait Mk2 Reactive Armor G5 Thermal w/ Deep Layer got back 100 -110M
FDL Reactive Armor G5 Thermal w/ Layered Plating got back 100 - 105M
At this point in my game credits mean very little but the materials and resources spent on building those G5 engineered armors was far more valuable then what I got back
