General Gameplay Decorative tracks

I was thinking a cool decoration that could be added would be dinosaur tracks. You could have a couple of various sizes that could be placed like a stamp on the ground. You coul have a big trex shaped one as seen in the Lost World, a short line of ornithopod/theropod tracks (three toed?) and a short line of sauropod/large (round shaped?) dinosaur tracks so we could theoretically make lines of foot prints.

I don't think they should be decorations. They should just be left by the dinosaurs regardless. :D

Well that would be cool if we had a real mud paint tool that kept track of what walked over it but that would probably be very performance heavy and would probably disappear after so many are made. At least with placeable tracks you can place them wherever you like without them disappearing.

Yeah but I would want them to disappear after some time. To make place for new ones. Like reality. They could preferably disappear after rain occurs. That would wash them away...
Don't think it would be performance heavy at all. Like FIFA where the grass gets messed up during the games.

One way how I think this can work out very well is when a dinosaur steps out of water, they can start leaving track behind on any surface for a short limited time to give the impression that their feet are still wet from the water.

Maybe this same thing can happen when after or during rainy weather (rain showers and tropical storms).

Speaking of rain, it would be nice if the Dinosaurs could drink from the puddles created. Also if the puddles didn't disappear so quickly, because its unrealistic.🙂
