Ded Ded Ded the engineer lit me up

Got an invite to ismatak(sp), proceeded to planet, located the base, requested permission to land, granted, auto landed, my ship was immediately attached by the station defenses after my engines shut down.

I think this one calls for a beer or two. If I have to claim insurance on my main ride then I'm suing the who dang universe.

Update: Returned to game at the engineer, immediately was attacked again and destroyed.

So now what? Log back in working a rock pile in a federal prison on Alpha Centauri?

Losing my main ride sucks. It took me a year and a half out in the black to get that paintjob looking right.

Did you got the invitation in "legal" way? I just got two invitations from Tod McQuinn and the Dweller but I hadn't met any requirements. Didn't try to land at their bases through.

I got an invite to selene jean yesterday and i have never mined one single ton of ore. I wondered about it. Maybe engineer unlock reqs got scrambled during the update?

What sometimes happens is that you receive the invitation in your messages, but it doesn't register on the galaxy map and so it acts as if you haven't. You can tell this has happened because the nut icon for the engineer doesn't appear in the galaxy map.

Log out and back in and it will work.

Happened to me for the Dweller and today for one of the new Odyssey engineers (but now I know how to fix it so I just relogged).
