Newcomer / Intro Deep Space nav plot in some system

In a few system I've noticed some "Deep Space" locations very far away from the main star.
Are those some special locations ?

If you have discover scanner likely they will just show up as planets and stars. Some stations are far out, but nothing special.
Takes me about 10 mins to get to 113,000ls and I have seen stations out this far.

Hutton Orbital is 0.22 LY (yes, that's Light Years, not Light Seconds) away from Alpha Centauri. It takes over an hour to reach it in Supercruise and it's not that special when you get there. It's useful only for wrecking your paint job if you want that used look on your vessel.

There are a couple of special objects in the Sol system, namely Voyager I and Voyager II. There may yet be more undocumented, who knows?

Shouldn't those show as "unexplored" though? The ones I'm talking about shown up as "Deep Space" (and the distance is about 2,000,000 ls if not more)

I was busy doing other stuff at the time but yeah I'll do that next time I see one of those. It seems pretty far at the time so I thought it was going to take ages too.

If only you could get a wrecked up paint job. I'd fly this run and back again to mess mine up.

Can you get a wrecked paint job? Does anyone know?

The paint starts to peel off, but you'll only be able to see it when you hit the outfitting screen.

If you have an Asp or similar the Hutton Orbital run can be eyewateringly expensive in terms of repairs to 'ship integrity'.

Exactly. When can we expect our 3rd person drone? I'd like to see my store-bought 5$ paintjob off the docking pad please
