DEEPOON E2 NOT FOUND

is anyone else finding that oculus software says hdmi not found and usb not found (ive had it say usb found a couple times but generally it says not found and the hdmi has never been able to be found)

and the dpvr software is the same, wont find the deepoon e2 although it says connected, the setup wont find the system even though it says connected under the picture of the e3 on the main screen. i dont have an e3 i have an e2 but the latest software shows a picture of an e3.

i do have a blue light on the deepoon e2 and when i look through the eye lenses i see a floor with little dots and writing which says

"Rift isn`t ready for you just yet. Continue setting it up on your computer."

which as explained above i cant do :(

Like eveyone else I have read about from what i can find online i too have an expensive paperweight, VERY expensive as I spent 600 on a pc to use it on and 200 on the device when i purchased it.

ive setup as im meant to and formatted the pc in order to try setup a second time on a clean pc in case anything when wrong the first time and still same problem.

does ANYONE have a working deepoon e2 and if you do are you using the latest software of oculus and dpvr?

quick google and this thread seems to be what your looking for - they do get it working so id read through ( i cant be bothered as its not my problem ).

although after having a quick glance through i see its an old post (2016) so maybe your device isnt supported anymore - afterall it is a chinese clone designed to work with oculus software, wouldnt suprise me if oculus hadnt done this on purpose to stop ppl using their software on other companys cloned devices.
