Station: Riemann Colony (Ocellus Starport, large pads available, 1,362 Ls from main star, 198.99 Ly from Sol)
Objective: Hand in Pilots Federation Combat Bonds from destroying Thargoid ships
Time limit: None

Description
Swarms of Thargoid vessels have invaded the 42 n Persei, Chun Pindit and Tekkeitjal systems in an apparently coordinated attack.

Since the Thargoids conquered HIP 22460 a month ago, their presence has gradually expanded in all directions. But these are the first inhabited systems to be invaded since the Proteus Wave incident, threatening a combined population of over seven million people.
Defensive operations are being orchestrated by Tekkeitjal Public Corporation from the starport Riemann Colony in the Tekkeitjal system. Thargoid combat bonds can be handed in at this location for increased credit rewards.
The first part of the campaign begins on the 12th September and will run until further notice. If the final target is met earlier than planned, the situation will be re-assessed.
To earn rewards you must sign up as an active participant before handing in Pilots Federation Combat Bonds at Riemann Colony in the Tekkeitjal system.
Please note that if you have any crew members, a proportion of your combat bonds will be automatically assigned to them. These combat bonds will not count towards your personal contribution total, and your crew will receive the reward for these combat bonds when they are handed in. The proportion of combat bonds assigned to your crew will depend on their rank.
Be aware that faction-state changes and other disruptive events can negatively impact markets and station services, and could prevent the initiative from running smoothly.

These CGs all show up on the main website as 9 days so don't know if you want to the modify the posts @Kietrax . Sounds like there may be follow-up CGs after the nine days?

(Not in-game at a station so can't check what it looks like there)
 
am all for CGs but unless things have changed the current game mechanics are a bit 4th wall breaking imo. IE. thargoids are attacking please humanity band together and save us.

..... what commander mad Mike you want a Gauss cannon? sorry you have to grab some bits and then you can have as many as you want but until then, sorry sir.

Until Further Notice is the information we were given so we can only go by that - but also says they will be reviewed.
 
Does the same info on CapShips as for 42n Persei apply to this CG and the other one was well? Since Persei is about to be finished, this one looks a bit more promising for just-following-ups ...
(my client is just doint the THIRD upgrade after installing EDH 4.0 ... what the ...)

Sorry slight oversight Galnet said there were capital ships in these other systems But nobody actually confirmed they were.100% as the conflict zones are Massive 1000of ls from entry point without FC...
IF they are in all 3 then yep. If their difficulty is not listed, it means they're medium AX zones as the other was... Yep..
Edit yep feds are in all 3 systems as the galnet news stated...
The next higher up tieir level CG is not this one. it's the other one that's on tier 4 already, this one's only reached tier 3...

yep all mediums... the cylops drop rate seam to have changed vs the war bas every time for me now the first round...

Ok now that the other one finished this has become the next highest hand rate per hour CG but not the most handed in in total CG...
 
Isn't it high intensity CZ at FNS cap ships if we have two Hydras at the end of the cycle? I have seen it today at FNS Shannon.

only medium 300K for scout clearnce not 500K is high. Only max of 2 interceptors at a time not a max of 3 like in high can spawn..
Max of only 1 hydra not a max of 2 that can spawn high...
chance of medusa spawning on first wave lower.. chance of 2 bas for first wave spawning is higher in medium... If you glitch out on connection the waves will be broken...
If you got paid 500k for scout clearence then its changed and its high rated..

So With a krait AX multi cannons these CGs kills were harder with the Swarm active but the Guardian weapons and correct shields are able to shrug off the cyclops swarm as the cyclops should be dead in <8 mins which kills the swarm it released...
So the advantage of the salvation augmented weapons still Rule as even this numnuts can still kill cyclops with ease...
The swarm can remain distracted by other ships...

Turn the 4K of if it activates is fake 4K
Inaras guestimate is that none of the remaining CGs will complete tier 8 before the API set time hits..

Wow, you're the champion! I have only half of your combat bonds, but I keep it for next weeks, when they will offer double-engineered something.

This what you described we already had in HIP 22460 Ax CZs. I don't know if you were out there in open mode, but many times it was really good teamwork - different ships, different loadouts, helping each other with repair and decontamination limpets, even FdLs for anti-gankers actions, good coordination through system chat. Ok, sometimes it was big mess.
And now, after 8,5 GB of updates we have, in fact, less gameplay than before U13. We have grelics and nothing to do with them, we have anomalies in the sky and nothing to do with them, we have boring and insignificant CGs or no CGs at all. It will be better in next months.
Now it's fair to say thanks to FDev to bring back this cap ships AX CZ. It's even better than HIP 22460, cause in this 3 CG systems we have FCs always close enough, it means
fast repair and rearm.
 
I didn't have as much time as I did on the previous AX combat CG's, but what little I did was great fun and the only times I've been in Open as not interested in PVP. Taking on an AX combat zone alone leads to me leaving around half way through but, when a few random players are present, taking on and defeating a hydra or two is something else.

I cant hold my bonds Im playing 3.8 because of performance in VR.
3.8 you loose bonds if you die or so Ive been told.. wouldnt know havent died.... YET! :)

Otherwise yes I would have held some back incase of better reward CG :)
 
It's pity it's not possible to hand in only part of your pilots federation's combat bonds - it's always all or nothing.
Now CGs are finished, but AX CZs are still there. I hope CGs will continue today afternoon, but we can fight there even without CGs.

"The first part" ? There hasn't been any follow-up announced.
"run until further notice" ? They ended exactly when the arbitrary time limit specified in the description ran out.
"If the final target is met earlier than planned, the situation will be re-assessed" The 42 n Persei CG ended more than half a week ago and absolutely nothing happened.

The thargoids haven't retreated nor advanced. So what was achieved or lost?
