Statement of Solidarity with the Scriveners

"We The Independent Pilot's Resistance and our allies declare our solidarity with The Scriveners Clan and pledge to come to their defense should they choose to resist a forced relocation and violent theft of their home by the Orion University.

The Scriveners are a peaceful clan of truth seekers and knowledge keepers who have over centuries developed a unique and distinct culture which deserves to be protected from hostile interference. Separating these people from their dredger and way of life would do irreparable harm to their culture which cannot be tolerated by those who value the rights of all independent spacefarers.

The Scrivener’s right to self determination and cultural autonomy precedes any centuries old claim of ownership by the Orion University with the original property owners being long dead. We believe that Orion University’s claim of ownership is little more than a justification to seize control over centuries worth of data that was collected and stored within the Scrivener’s “Knowledge Core”. This trove of data contains information from Azimuth's megaship the Hesperus that may be vital in our resistance against Blackflight and Azimuth. We believe the galactic conspiracy is using Orion University as a means to seize, utilize and cover up this information.

As I speak, a rapid response fleet of freedom fighters has been dispatched to assist the Scriveners, any and all attempts to seize the dredger or harm its inhabitants will be met with fierce resistance.

If you are an independent pilot that believes as we do please join us, rise up and resist!"

Hey there! Happy to see there is such a strong statement! I saw today's GalNet and became curious about what can we do in this conflict (which maybe will translate in current week CG?)

So, have you tried anything to move the balance of the conflict? Repair limpet on Scriveners Dredger, sabotage Orion's megaship, etc?

I don't know what in-game lever we can pull to steer the narrative, but please feel free to contact me if you are going to propose some player-driven narrative to interact with the two megaships.

Best regards,
