Definitely need more terrain choices

Not saying what we have isn't good, but I think Savanah grass and Prarie Grass would be a great touch. Not to mention I'd love some red Australian sand as another paint option to add to the look I'm trying to achieve.

I think more wet mud would be nice, animals don't have to interact with it but it would be nice to have really moist, damp looking dirt for the more swampish exhibits.
Some others I thought of would be like a forest floor, like fallen leafs, twigs, and branches with some pebbles mixed in probably. Substrate would be nice to have, even though we don't have much domestic animals I think people can utilize this in backstage settings.
Not necessarily a terrain paint idea but being able to make puddles would be nice. I am not sure if we can already make puddles, I do know we can recolor the moss decal to look like them but it would be cute to see your animals run around and splash pass the puddles.

The game engine can only support eight textures at one time as far as we know. In the Planet Coaster days they eventually added a scenario editor which allowed you to pre-select eight textures for your map, but that was the limit. There was a recent update to the engine, but whether this limitation has been overcome or not remains to be seen; personally I'm doubtful, but I do think we will one day see a similar scenario editor added to Planet Zoo.

As to whether they'll add more textures, well, "savannah grass" exists already if you play on a grassland map, at least the stereotypical dry-season yellow grass does (I personally don't really like this, as the African savannah is often green), and red sand is also accessible if you choose to build your zoo in the Oceanian desert.
