Welcome to Delaine's OPEN WORLD PVP Battle-Sphere.
A massive battle dome/sphere in the heart of Archon Delanie's space.
The sphere was originally going to be a huge New Pilot Training Facility/Spaceport for the Federation, however due to funding, the project was never finalized. In an effort to recoup some of their loses, they put the spaceport up for auction. Delaine, through a bit of tactic and "subtle persuasion," won the Training Facility at a very reasonable bid in a private auction. Amount Undisclosed.
After a huge team effort, the pirate's crew managed to cart the spaceport, chunk by chunk back to Delaine's space. Fed's did not provide shipping.
Archon had other plans for the facility.. ones that were more, profitable. He put his guys to work putting the massive object back together with modifications, that he over saw himself. Now functional, well mostly, the sphere is now home to his most ambitious venture yet. The Galaxy's first Open PVP Player Battle-Sphere.

-You enter and you are marked for PVP
-Ships with Same Powerplay Powers are Green on Radar.
-Ships with Other Powerplay Powers are Red on Radar.
-Free for all style PVP (ie: Conflict Zone)
-Obstacles to hide behind and use for cover/maneuvering
-When you die you spawn at dome. Still pay rebuy.
-Merits are Rewarded based on Kills. (KILLING SAME PLAYER results in less merits after each time, till zero, prevents cheat farming)
-Powerplay Rewards given out at end of week.
-Leaderboards for Battle-Sphere PVP.

Zero Tolerance for PVP outside the dome. Cannons from Dome will engage pilots conducting pvp outside the dome.

AKA, "The Kumo Pit"
Players can land their ship on the outside of the battle sphere. Dock like a spaceport.
Undock and proceed to Player Lounge Area, "The Kumo Pit."
Filled with other players watching PVP battle take place up above.

You found the dark side of Elite. If you needed a damn good pilot to do some wetwork around the galaxy, you would find them here. "The Kumo Pit" is host to the most elite combat pilots with zero moral compass to speak of. Cash is king here and plenty of dirty missions to be had.

Fdev. PVP should be encouraged in the game. Ganking not so much.
There is a difference.
Please give Open PVP a place to conduct its actions in a controlled, positive, powerplay, game worthy way. (Remove current Instanced CQC, nobody plays it)
