With the new message inbox where messages of the same mission are bundled, deleting them is a bit awkward. If you open a message and delete it, the next mission is selected instead of the next message of the mission you were in.
This makes it hard to delete messages in sequence quickly.
Steps to Reproduce
have multiple missions with multiple mission update messages.
open the first message of the first mission and delete it.
focus will be on the next mission instead of the next message.
