Can we delete the folder of the Odyssey Alpha (PUBLIC_TEST_SERVER_OD) without risking later problems? An official response would be nice.

I am not in any capacity to respond officially for FDEV, but yes - Test Server is where Alphas/Betas of Elite are installed. The downside is that if there is ever part 2 of the given alpha/beta, it will take much longer to install it, as all of the files will need to be downloaded again.

As a user I've deleted mine. No consequences for my gameplay or service access.
yep deleted mine too, 40gb+ is a lot of space to be wasting on dead software especially when we need 2 separate versions of ED
