Deliver cargo

After 4 weeks have managed to get the controls set up
have made the first run to begle2 landing
arrived safe and docked
fuel and sold the cargo for a small profit
but i also have a mission here
but i cant find out how to discharge the mission
i know i have to get back to get paid
but as far as i can see the passangers are still here :S
or is just landing here fulfill the mission

Depends on the mission, but usuly you enter the bulletin board at the mission destination and there you can end the mission and get payed. This is for cargo and courier missions where you are given something to deliver.
Dunno about the rest tho

Hi

So i cant find any thing in the menue to deliver goods/people
that you deliver from acepting a mission
and when at the station it still showed the mission as active
so ijust sold the goods i had bought with me
and exit an fly back to the station were i came from
on docking back there i had no passangers
and there was no message relating to having been paid for the mission
so i am at a loss about this, maybe i worked for nothing
or maybe because i updated elite to 1.04 while i was there i somehow lost it
never mind will have to try again :S

In all of the courier missions I have done you have to go tot he bulletin board at the destination station and the mission is listed at the bottom. Clicking on it offers a "give cargo" option.

There may be missions where you have to actually buy the cargo and sell it to the station before turning the mission in but I have not seen one yet.

Also, are you sure the time hasn't expired for the mission? You would still have the cargo in your cargo bay but you would also now have a fine (or possibly a bounty) in the jurisdiction where you started the mission.

Did you sell the cargo on the markets, instead of giving it to them via the bulletin board?
