Delivery Missions

Basic question. I seem to have a problem with delivery missions. Initially no problem but now cannot complete delivery. eg 3 nits of Insulating membranes to be delivered from Lazarev City to Bischoff Prospect in Osans System. Accept Mission, then purchase items in commodities. Travel to system but when try to complete it says good not collected and therefore cannot deliver anything. This only started after an update last year some time. What am I missing anyone or am I having a senior moment

You dont buy the products, you just collect them from the mission giver. It's so you can take smaller amounts, accept the mission in one ship that cant carry them and then either do it in stages or swap to a larger ship.

Cargo depot, I think it's called.

You (now) have to collect the goods from the mission giver. After you have accepted a mission go back to the mission board and the faction you took the delivery mission from and the mission will be listed at the top - click on it and it takes you to a page where you can load all or part of the consignment onto your ship (the UI is a bit unintuitive so check your cargo inventory to make sure the stuff actually got loaded!)

Or better yet, stacked a bunch of those missions then loaded up cargo for delivery to one system but flew to the receiver in another system with the wrong missions cargo. No, I never did that.

I recently did NOT file a bug report because the Complete button was greyed out after I delivered the cargo but did not press the Deliver Cargo button.

I have boned this up too many time, you need to load the items to be delivered, then click to confirm. I did this twice, on a run that had a 524,000 LS run to the delivery point... twice before I figured it out.
