Edit: seems some kind of server settling going on as this has resolved itself, at least at the port I call home. One hop wing missions again. Sorry but had no idea this would change by itself

Edit again: I feel silly but miss the long range boom missions now. Over 10 million with a Python seemed for 10 hops or so seemed like a good wrinkle.

Ok, cool. But um now all them them now go to 120ly plus (most around 200ly!). Even the boom deliveries not just the wing missions too (kinda see the point for boom deliveries to be fair) but a wing mission with up to 10 round-trips 200ly!!!! Not on.

Well, I suggest doing it in a wing, might be easier :D

Boom deliveries were overpayed for one-hops.
 
Yeah, just won't be doing them I guess. Not everyone has friends with Cutters. And frankly even then the reward/time is still off. 10 million for cargo missions of 6000+ is over 8 trips at 22ly jump loaded for 200ly+ so that will take 20 minute round trip per cutter ; looking at 180 minutes I would say. Even if you divide that into 4 players that is 45 minutes each to earn 10 million. It doesn't work! .

And I did say I understood the boom delivery change.

edit: I forgot docking so 25-30 minutes per trip! Risk (time) / reward just isn't there.

Is this just in your home system or have you seen it elsewhere?

Exactly! Fine, make the boom missions some ways to go (don't love it but makes sense) but the changes to the Wing Missions make 0cr sense! Why would anyone ever do one? Sigh.

Faction is currently in war elsewhere! :D

Still, good payout for the single player mission. Not so sure about the wing one.....

That wing mission is....terrible?

Maybe the BGS just needs to run for a day or two for the improvements to filter through? :S

They all like that I have seen, Elite and allied with local station. Some 120ly, some 200, 220 or further. And none of them make cr/hr sense, even for 4 players; that I can see anyways. Maybe my math is off.
 
I've been wanting long range delivery missions, but don't want them to push content others are enjoying out of the way. Are you saying all the wings are long range now?

My hobbyist game developing experience makes me want to tune solo/wing missions like this:

- solo haulage are long distance but one run only required
- wing haulage is short hops but high total tonnage moved, requiring many short runs to complete.

Making wing missions pay only 10% more but require many times the work at the same long distances seems rather ill planned...?
 
The wing mission balance numbers match up to the numbers that FDev have said would be introduced,that is the slight credit reward increase and slight decrease in commodity amounts.

The thing no one saw coming was the range increase in the missions.
Which is just a joke.

Lot of players in the other thread said all that would come of this was a solo cargo mission nerf,amd the wimgs would never be buffed enough.

Looking at it they were totally right sadly:(
