Deluxe Edition

It is my humble opinion that the current Deluxe Edition costs far too much money in its current state. For the price of $11.99, you get 3 animals (one of which is quite similar to a base game species), the soundtrack (already available for free on Spotify or YouTube), and some wallpapers (again, free as air). This is quite egregious, especially in comparison to modern DLC packs. I know that this price used to be what you paid for beta testing but that was 3 years ago, thus it's no longer excusable.

I propose 2 solutions that would greatly please the Planet Zoo community.

1. Reduce the price: Simple as it says. Given how the pack has 3 animals with the other 2 features being not worth the money in this day and age, I think that the current sale price of $3.59 is a perfectly fair price to keep this at all year round.

2. Add more animals: This is definitely more unlikely but it would be amazing. Likely, Frontier will use animals that already have somewhat of a base in the game already. For this, I propose...

Vervet monkey
Black rhino
Red deer
Blue wildebeest
Dromedary camel
Emu
Sloth bear (or an Andean bear)
King cobra

I agree. It was a nice Price to get Beta Access but now the Price doesn't really fit anymore.
Actually I like the Idea of adding one or two more Animals more than lowering the Price. I wonder which Species Frontier would include if they would make that Decission. Considering that the ones that are already in it are relatively similar to other Animals I think maybe something like
Grevy Zebra and Sumatran Tiger or Green Peafowl 🤔

I bought the deluxe pack last year on "instant gaming" ....I would never pay 11,99 for this pack🙈.....

I bought it for the three extra animals. I just flat out bought the deluxe version I believe it had the Komodo, Thompson gazelle, and Pygmy hippo along with the soundtrack and wallpapers. I highly doubt adding more animals will ever happen honestly that’s wishful thinking. But really when it’s on sale who cares? It’s not going to break the bank.

Yes, but also Red deer (like the dromedary and black rhino, it already has in game props (signs and statues)).
And I'd put the Wisent here too, as it is very easily made from the American bison.

To keep the number at 8, I'd replace the muntjac with the red deer, and the king cobra with the wisent. I think the cobra would be a great addition for a DLC down the road, same as the muntjac, and they are not very similar to in game species in my opinion.

I really don't see it getting an update close to three years after its release, but if it did, I'd choose the Musk Ox and the King Cobra so it has the same number of animals a scenery pack has, just without the scenery. I think a permanent price reduction is much more likely though. If the animals I mentioned were added, I think that $4.50 would be reasonable, but without them, I'd bring it down even further to $3.50.
