Deluxe physical edition of the game

For those who want the deluxe edition on either ps4(for me) or xbox, are there more people who want this in a physical version?

- Or would it be possible to get the standard version physically and somehow download the deluxe content?
- Would those dinosaurs included in the deluxe edition become available at some point for people who only have the standard editon?

I can not find any information about a physical deluxe edition. Who can help me?

If it exists, it'll likely to release with the other physical copies in July. Not a lot of details have come out about the physical release, and I find that, and the fact that it even has a separate release date, odd. Chances are the deluxe edition dinosaurs will be available later for separate purchase, but there's no confirmation on that so don't think anything of it.

Do you absolutely need it to be a physical copy?

Gotcha. Well, I am running out of space on my ps4 all the time and have to keep deleting the very few games I actually play. + my download speed is quite slow that I have to wait a long time before I can play.

With a physical copy it saves me some space. Other than that I just like to have the cd and option to sell a game or loan it to a friend.

If the physical edition was coming out at the same time I would be more Inclined to buy it. I am not waiting a month to get the game though so I am happy with the digital version

The wording for the deluxe edition is weird "Pre order and receive an exclusive skin for the ACU helicopter and the Ranger vehicle!" - so it's unlikely that a physical copy would ever get these, as they're related to it being a pre-order.

But "Includes a pack of 5 extra dinosaurs that can be accessed through dig sites within the game". No indication that the dinos are exclusive to the pre-order, so as others have guessed they probably will be available to buy later. This should be one of those questions FD can actually answer, if they are watching...

The dinosaurs aren't exclusive for pre-order, they are the addition for the deluxe version.
If you buy a deluxe version when the game has launched you will still get the 5 dinosaurs.

If reselling or loaning are more concerning to you, then I'd keep looking out for physical deluxe editions. If its space, then I would honestly just recommend getting the digital. Surely there are some things you can delete off your ps4 to make room, and in my experience, the difference of the sizes between the physical and digital copies is not significant enough to matter. These days, most (if not all) digital games on ps4 allow for a predownload, that way you don't have to wait the moment the game releases.

The deluxe edition gives you the 5 dinosaurs regardless of preorder. They are the bonus of that specific version of the game. The chopper and ranger skin are strictly for preordering, meaning if you preorder any edition, you get those.

I will be playing on PC so I don't get a physical version at all, special edition or not. If they did make a physical version for the PC that is a special edition with like an art book showing how the Dinosaurs were made and some art of them I would buy it. I don't really want some kind of plastic junk like a Dinosaur figure. An art book that talks about the games development and the creation of the Dinosaurs would be sweet IMO. A physical book and not some digital version. I would buy it for sure. Also if it came in a nice looking box that would also be great. With the game in a plastic DVD case with some nice artwork as the cover. I believe it would sell well. But sadly this probably won't happen.

Yes this is the problem that I have been having, if a physical version of the deluxe edition comes out AFTER I have already bought the digital version I won't be impressed!! but what can you do? I would prefer a physical version because it's much more desirable to own than a digital version... but i don't want to miss out on the suchomimus initially so i'll have to buy the digital version.

Thx for your input. I will buy the deluxe anyway as I don't want to miss out on those 5 dinosaurs. Let's hope there will be a physical version
