Demand for LTDs, Painite, Platinum, etc.

Why has demand for minerals and metals remain the same even though the bubble has doubled or even tripled in size? Shouldn't the market reflect that
demand? Shouldn't I get more for my cargo if the bubble demand has increased due to Colonization?

I stand by my statement,"Nerfing is not content ." Bring back LTD prices!

Make Mining Great Again!

The demand per-system won't have changed, but the overall bubble-wide demand will be substantially higher as a result of the new stations. But that's true of every cargo - it applies just as much to Clothing as it does to Void Opals.

However ...
- prices for the high-end stuff are dependent on BGS states and especially on rare-ish combinations of BGS states
- spreading (roughly) the same players out across 70,000 systems rather than 20,000 reduces the BGS intensity on most systems
- that therefore makes the good prices less likely, not more
- so a return to the old pricing structures wouldn't necessarily succeed in bringing the old prices back anyway

I disagree, if you have minerals like LTDs that need to be mined and is rare, then the demand would increase so would the price. ECON101. So a larger bubble and more settlements requiring the minerals would only pay more for said minerals.
