Maybe I'm jumping on a landmine with this one, but it's guaranteed to come up sooner or later and since the Brexit poll was surprisingly accurate (even if non british people voted in it) I'd like to see how the forum votes on this topic.

I've searched a bit around and found a site where the political stances of both candidates were compared in a neutral way.

Political stances of Clinton:
Individual Rights:
is a woman's unrestricted right - Strongly Agrees

Legally require hiring women & minorities - Strongly Agrees

Comfortable with same-sex marriage - Strongly Agrees

Keep God in the public sphere - Agrees

EPA(Enviromental Protection Agency) regulations are too restrictive - Strongly Disagrees

Make voter registration easier - Strongly Agrees

Domestic Issues:
Stricter punishment reduces crime - Disagrees

Absolute right to gun ownership - Strongly Disagrees

Expand ObamaCare - Strongly Agrees

Vouchers for school choice - Strongly Disagrees

Prioritize green energy - Strongly Agrees

Marijuana is a gateway drug - Disagrees

Economic Issues:
(Government) Stimulus better than market-led recovery - Strongly Agrees

Higher taxes on the wealthy - Strongly Agrees

Pathway to citizenship for illegal aliens - Strongly Agrees

Privatize Social Security - Strongly Disagrees

Defense and International Issues:
Support & expand free trade - Disagrees

Expand the military - Disagrees

Support American Exceptionalism (Wikipedia entry on Exceptionalism) - Disagrees

Avoid foreign entanglements - Disagrees
Details and references to these political stances are here.

I intentionally reduced the candidates on their political stances since there are so much bricks flying around regarding the behaviour and scandals during the campaign.

Depending on their political stances, which leader would be better for the United States of America?

Before this thread blows up and gets locked down like a few other threads over the past week, please read and follow the guidelines for political discussion in the OffTopic Forum.

If i was American i'd go with Clinton, she's not a real lefty, but she's better than Trump. And politically i'm secular (obviously), so no to Trump, and i'm a rarity on the left these days as i'm actually pro military intervention (as well as being a democratic socialist with liberal views), so yes to Clinton in the absence of Bernie.

Just look at the tone of the two conventions.

Lord Chump = Fear: Division: Isolationism

Clinton = Hope: Unity: Cooperation

+1 for non-biased reporting.

Let me correct it a bit to make it a more balanced view.

Clinton: lack of reality: even more out of control spending: ignore everything but her gender

You forgot to rep me?

So you are stating that the republicans don't and are not using fear to gain power? You are also stating that they don't promote divisions or wish to isolate America from the rest of the world.

I was being facetious.

Note that I did not correct your entire post. Only the part that needed tweaking.

I was saying that you seem to be wearing rose colored glasses.

I don't see Gary Johnson on the poll which is weird because he's going to be on the ballot in all 50 states. Oh well. He's got my vote.

LOL. That's not a good definition of a Libertarian. Libertarians are typically "far right" on economic policies while being "far left" on social issues.

Hardly left on social issues. The core tenent is every man for himself. Left on social issues is social security and state supplied health care. You probably meant things like government not telling you who you can marry and what you're allowed to smoke.

As a rule Libertarians are for laissez-faire, small state and minimal government. It is also a school of though which is mainly appealing to young white males :)
