Deploy SUV at anytime

I think you should be able to deploy your SUV SRV while your ship is still flying... this could, of course, end in disaster for you... but that should be up to the commander to take that risk. It wouldn't really take much effort to make this code change and there are lots of fun shenanigan possibilities with this

Yes. In my opinion, this would be especially important addition if they were to revise the code and make multicrew SRVs a thing.

Yes for multicrew that would be fantastic, but also for single player as well... your ship can dismiss itself from the ground and it should just dismiss itself automatically the moment your SRV drops too, no crew required. They wouldn’t really need to do much coding for that.

Well it would certainly make ganking more interesting...carpet bombing SRVs onto Cmdrs or launching them at the cockpit in space

I suggested cables before, for drop off and pickup, especially in mountains, hover and deploy and sip flies off or land and deploy as usual.
