Describing the coasters

What pronoun do you use to describe your coasters and rides in the game? Do you describe them as male, female, or no gender?

It. Like the movie? Or like the pronoun?

it or that.

"It is a roller coaster", or "that is a roller coaster"
I don't know how I could infer a coaster has any gender and the sentence still make sense.
"he/she is a roller coaster" would make me think you are calling a person emotionally unstable. I would then be prompted to ask who it is you are referring to so I could avoid or help them.

I don't really know why you even asked this question, are you doing gender studies or something?

Might be English not as primary language. In some languages objects may have gender. French I think use that.

Well, because cruise ships (and other boats) are described as female, so why not do the same to amusement rides?
