The desert dwellers pack consist of the following animals and a new barrier
Emu
Striped Hyena
Desert Tarantula:Exhibit
Wallaby
The barrier would be a wooden barrier like what is used for Cattle and horses in real life.

Personally, I'd go with a lizard, like a thorny devil or frilled lizard, or a turtle/tortoise of some kind

Might I request a Dromedary Camel? Or an Addax? Or an American desert habitat animal (if you can think of one)?

Furthermore, should we make this into an animal pack with 8 animals? You have it set up with the typical 5, and the Africa Pack already has a lot of desert scenery.

I saw them listed so many times in Desert pack suggestions that I thought they were desert animals too, but when I researched their biome that turned out to be incorrect. In fact, the hyena species that ventures most deeply into the desert is the Brown hyena, but they mostly live in grasslands, scrublands, and semi-deserts at best.

I don’t think a Desert pack is very likely because it rules out many hot-climate animals that are wanted in-game! I think what is more likely is a Drylands pack, effectively the same but with a broader theme. A lineup for this pack could look like:

-Six Banded Armadillo
-Dromedary Camel
-Emu
-Honey Badger
-Caracal
-Burrowing Owl
-Desert Bighorn Sheep
-Naked Mole Rat (E)

And I think Drylands complements the Wetlands pack really nicely. I just wonder if a Drylands pack has as much star quality as the Wetlands pack.

Anyway, a Drylands pack is not complete without the Patagonian mara. Gimme the Mara please.

I'd change the tortoise for a Patagonian mara, but otherwise I'd be excited for every one of these animals!
