We definitely need more desert animals. It's probably the most underrepresented biome in PZ. I hate the current 4 + 1 format, and we don't know if they're going to keep that going forward into Year 2, though I have little faith they'll change it unfortunately. So under those restrictions this is what I'd want from a desert specific pack:
- Fennec fox
- Sand cat
- Collared peccary
- White-nosed coati
- Veiled chameleon (Exhibit)
We have no small canids or small cats, something that is a bit ridiculous for a zoo game. Any zoo in the world is more likely to have smaller canids or felines than the bigger lions, tigers etc. I can honestly do without the dromedary, we really don't need another camel, we need diversity. Which is funny because if Frontier did decide to make a desert pack, they'd almost assuredly put a dromedary in because they like to have at least one clone since it saves them time, money and effort.
As far as the other animal choices go, we need more American animals (by this I mean NA, CA and SA). These could fit well as primarily desert animals, but since Frontier loves their tropical rainforest biome so much, they could also be quite happy with that as a secondary biome. Lastly, we still don't have any chameleon species, so this would fix that.
As far as new building options go, I like the idea of a limited adobe/sandstone set. I think a couple really nice stone textures and some better looking glass would be great. We also definitely need more desert plants from around the world.
