News Design Decision Archive now publically viewable

Hi everyone!

Just a quick update about the Design Decision Archive. This should now be viewable to all registered forum users, so you can see the decisions that have been made within the DDF and discuss the design choices that have been made. Hopefully this will provide a little more clarity to more of the community, in regards to the development process of Elite: Dangerous so far.

please note: to streamline the conversation in the DDA, only the most recent thread on each subject has been left open. This should allow all conversation on each topic to remain in one place. A format and rules thread for the DDA will be forth-coming!

Thank you again for supporting Elite and participating in the forums! If you have any questions or concerns then please feel free to private message me. :)

There's definitely interesting stuff in there, worth reading if you have the time. You may not agree with all the views, but you can't fault the DDF members' enthusiasm to make a great game!

Don't worry guys, the later discussions have been a lot less chaotic than the first ones, so maybe a bit easier to follow (if you want to)

I don't recall us coming to any decisions. All we did was talk (and talk, and talk) and then FD made some decisions.
True, but Frontier has posted the decisions in the DDF as well, and they are subsequently moved to the archive. So some genius might be able to find the red thread and understand how the decisions came about. (If he/she does, I'll be hoping for an explanation).

I see no option to delete one's post (if it's still the latest post in a thread) - am I missing something? Oh... where I mostly reside, if I need to test any permissions, I create a test-user, approve its first post, then use it for whatever is needed.
