Designer devs, will we ever see different seats in different crafts ?

Personally, while different seats would be nice, I think it's something that could wait until we have walking around.

Why? You ask.

Because when you're in it flying the ship, most of the time the seat you're in is invisible. It's behind you so you only really see it when you look around.

Except a lot of the ships in Elite are multi crew ones with other visible seats around you, if only the seat you were sitting in was the same it would be an other issue altogether.


Still no words from the devs, that's not something confidential is it ?!

wow that's incredibly stupid. that wouldn't do any good 1,000s of ls away from a star port unless that thing is capable of warping (which is ridiculous). and why would you make ejection seats for space ships anyways? that's just dumb.

Journey to the opposite side of the galaxy, self destruct, within seconds you are over 100,000 LYrs away back to where you last docked or in the starter station depending on which option you picked, rebuy or free Sidey. Ever thought that was strange?

Customization is a huge part of any type of game like this. Yet I am not surprised it is absolutely missing. Even the bobble head got taken!

Same here!. Granted I don't think it devalues the game but it would certainly benefit from having more visible customization options.

In honesty, when first researching the game hearing about the multiple ways to "customize" your ship, I had more in mind than non-visible internal components.

I'd love to know whether FD are deliberately showing the shot of the upcoming Imperial Courier with the correct seat?. The original image of the Clipper we can maybe forgive as concept art pre-release, maybe there's hope with this?
