Destroy Trailblazer System colonization buildings

Many players who have built faulty/wrong structures in the system colonization would like to tear them down.
How about having a torpedo with a thermonuclear warhead for the torpedo launcher for this purpose?

The player (as System Architect) fires the torpedo at a structure in space or a structure on a planet, the structure is blown up and cargo containers with building materials remain at the site.
The cargo containers can then be picked up for the right construction.
 
This has been asked for quite a bit I think (holding up my spatula here). Personally my preference would be to reconfigure to a new type of similar structure (e.g. installation for an installation etc). Failing that a full de-commission. As for mats well I think maybe a decommission/ recycling barge could be requested similar in way with a beacon like the trailblazers colony ship.. This barge then takes the recycled mats back to one of the trailblazer mega ships. Player would get some sort of credit sale for recycled materials; like we do every Thursday for being a passive architect. Seeing as we have already received payment from Brewer corp for delivering the original materials, any credit sale of recycled materials would have to take that into account.

This may be another good solution. But not only a similar structure.
Think of the players which built a settlement on a planet and and the better solution would have been to build a HUB.
 
I had a Tier 2 extraction and a Tier 1 refinery... Put in a Tier 1 mining facility (no pad), the Tier 2 lost products and the refinery gained some really good products. Really hoped the Tier 2 would have gotten those products as they would have been more accessible due to the large pad instead of the medium.
