Destroyed by an NPC terrorist

Late last night (was flying tired) I was in alpha centauri looking at the space station when I was suddenly jumped by a terrorist npc. I tried to escape but wow he took my shields down and killed me so fast i couldn't believe it. I was left stunned looking at the re-buy screen.

Has anyone ever seen this?

This was a 1st for me

What Rank are you vs the NPC? What ship you in vs NPC ship?

New Elite NPCs will kill you fast if you not on the ball and have the shields and firepower to compete.

Were your defenses half way decent ? What were you in ? No usually they are not that dominant. Now I'm scared......hiccup....

Most likely yout outfitting could use some improvements. Care you share your build? I´ll be happy to give you some advise

I play on Mobius. I clearly read "terrorist" in the description. My defenses on my python are not great. I don't do a lot of combat in it.
But i went down really fast

What shield are you using? Any improved armor? What drives? It would help a lot if you can share your build.

Not met any terrorists yet, but I have been been chased by NPC's that have taken 5A Shields with boosters, down in short order, though I'm usually running with military hull and low waked out before any serious damage.

I'll gather that info and post back here later.
I know i'm not geared for combat and my combat rank is low.
When i do go against NPC's i win most of the time but i admittedly #$#% at combat.
And when i'm out ranked and out gunned i run.

I just have never seen a terrorist npc before, and running didn't help at all this time.

What do you mean with this? AFAIK 'terrorist' is not used as a name for either NPCs or their ships. Was it a powerplay designation? Do you play the English version or a localized version?

I did get killed by NPCs a couple times.

..about two and a half years ago?

And this is why we get a lot of stick about trolling PvE'rs....

There is no shame in admitting they got killed in a 1v1 to an NPC, they already admitted that their fit is probably not optimal, that they don't 'do' combat as a profession (with a low ranking in it) and it sounds like MoM has been playing so it's quite possible that a new or tweaked NPC came out and blast them... Please leave the teasing in the playground thank you.

I was eye-balling one of the fancy Capital Ships, and apparently there is a distance where they issue a stern warning & then shortly thereafter add ventilation features to your ship using lasers & missiles, free of charge. I missed the warning. Maybe this happened to you as well.

Edit: Just noticed you mentioned it was certainly an NPC labeled Terrorist. Weird.

You know if you don't post the build and tell us what the enemy ship was, I'm going to assume you had the weakest/no shield, and were killed by an eagle. Becuase that is what I expect of the PvE community, and I play in solo.

Where exactly did it say the NPC was a "terrorist"? The only thing I can think of is that you accepted an assassination mission, and the target was labelled a "terrorist" in the mission description. which also fits the description of encountering an NPC much tougher than usual.
