Detailed Scanner: Is there a guide to the different blue graphics?

In a similar vain to the Stellar body graphic in the recent newsletter, is there a graphical guide to the blue icons that are displayed when you lock onto an unexplored body?

Unfortunately it is impossible to do right now, as there are some missing and some incorrect...

That said, Cmdr Nutter, didn't Jackie put a version of this up on your main thread which shows, at least, what we think they should be?

Jackie Silver? - Yes, I'm desperately trying to get back before 1.2 8,000ly to go, once I do I will give the guide a lick of paint :)

I haven't been back to check, but I'm sure I remember JS sticking an explanation in there somewhere.

My only tip is Type I Gas Giants look like rocky planets, but Gas Giants with life look like gas giants so if you see a Gas Giant with the colourations of the life bearing ones, target it, if it looks like a rocky planet it will be a Type I, if it looks like Gas Giant it scan it and it will 90% have life

That may explain why I'm struggling to work out the graphics if they are not being assigned correctly ATM.
