Detailed Surface Scans

If I do a detailed surface scan, does that bring up wrecks and/or ruins as well as ports. I know wrecks and ruins are not found on every landable planet but just wondering.
Also is there a list on the forum of POI sites, not really been able to find one.

No it does not, those things, if persistent at all (most wrecks are RNG), are always hidden. No list AFAIK, but there is a list of geysers https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showt...Fumarole-Location-Catalog-and-Data-Collection <--

On the subject, do Geysers show up as a POI? Is there a blue circle or do you just have to get lucky and spot them with the naked eye.
