Raan Corsen Dead
A search party of ships from the Children of Raxxla have reported finding the wreckage of the Imperial Eagle used by Raan Corsen to make his escape from the Chi Orionis system at an undisclosed crash site in Alioth. Speaking for the Children Commander Jellicoe said "We were acting on information from an anonymous source that Commander Corsen had fled to Alioth, unfortunately it appears he lost control of his heavily damaged ship while attempting to land and from the condition of the wreckage it seems impossible he could have survived the impact. It looks very much as though whatever secrets he may have been carrying have gone with him to the grave. We extend our sincerest condolences to Commander Corsen's family and friends.

The Children of Raxxla have conducted a detailed air and ground search of the site of Raan Corsens crash, in the admittedly faint hope that Commander Corsen might have ejected prior to his ship coming down. Unfortunately we have to report that despite a thorough search of the area no escape pods were found and we must conclude that Raan did indeed perish in the crash.
The Galactic Community is holding their breath for someone to ask the question that has been on everyone's minds, so it is up to the Voice of the Krew, and representative of Archon Delaine's supporters to ask it.
Was Cmdr. Corsen carrying any cargo, and if so was it recovered from the location of his crash? Furthermore, if it indeed was present and recovered, then it is the right of all free pilots to know what was found, and if it supports the accusations he made in the days leading up to his demise!

The following video was reconstructed from recovered parity files that were allegedly extracted from orbital satellites in the Alioth system. It appears to contain the final moments of former MetaDrive employee Raan Corsen. Corsen's Imperial Eagle was destroyed under mysterious circumstances after evading the Earth Defense Fleet by escaping to the permit-locked capital of the Alliance.

Something stands out to me. At first I thought the video was silent, but no, you can hear the impact of the crash at the end. However we have records of Raan Corsen's final transmissions, that went all the way until the moment of the crash. So why can we not hear his voice in the video?
Ladies and Gentlemen of the Pilots Federation, and the Galaxy at Large, I posit to you the theory that Cmdr. Corsen was NOT on his ship when it crashed, having either ejected to the safety of another ship and set his own on autopilot, or been secured by party or parties on unknown and hopefully taken to safety, but more unlikely an unpleasant fate! The thought of which is enough to put me off the fine Terran cognac that I was enjoying before I watched the video.

On behalf of the Earth Defense Fleet it is my duty to state that no EDF pilot was attending when Raan Corsen's craft was destroyed.
Any allegations of involvement in the malfunctions which led to this incident are entirely fabricated.

Been following the Raan Corsen thing for a couple of weeks, freedom of information request for the EDF from a old timer CMDR, Any coordinates for the crash site? I'm free to mooch around for a bit.....
