Lol
While waiting for Cyberpunk 2077, I've been trying to play Deus Ex MD.
I've been a fan of Deus Ex since the beginning. And I really enjoyed Human Revolution.
But MD? I can't say I like it, at all.
First problem I came across was the utterly abysmal performance, even on lower settings, it feels like I'm controlling a drunk person. It just feels slow and unresponsive. Spent ages tweaking the graphics, and I've settled on "meh" all-round, looks bad, runs bad. Which is a step up from look ok, runs abysmally. Lol
The gameplay doesn't feel as fluid as the HR either. Hacking doesn't even seem to fit on the screen space. Which is bizarre, and makes hacking impossible.
With the performance how it is, combat is near impossible too. I'm forced to only sneak around taking people down. Takes the fun of it.
It took me several hours, just to finish the intro mission. Then I got to the city, and watched the pointlessly long cut scene, then finally got to the playable part, running around the city with no real clue what's going on, and got bored before I even figured out where to go.
Anyone else struggle with this game? IMHO it doesn't feel anything like the first one, which I really enjoyed.
