Dev Diary #2 Feedback: RMC Train On Corkscrew Track?

Firstly, know that I'm absolutely in love with Planet Coaster after seeing that video, but there was one thing that got me curious:

What is an RMC-type train doing on Corkscrew track? Was a corkscrew car not created yet, or did something go wrong in the design? RCT3 got pretty much everything right, so I don't see why Frontier would have such an odd clash.

It can be fixed easily enough even if it wasn't a mistake, but I thought I'd point it out in case they hadn't noticed.

I noticed this too, but I think it's a placeholder model for now, who knows.. For a moment I felt that something was out of place too.. however, the detailed Vekoma-type track along with the more-than-detailed supports drove away my attention..

You can see here that the track is a Vekoma track (I live 10 minutes away from the office from Vekoma [yesnod])
And the card what is riding it is more for a wooden coaster. But when you look at the wheels is shows that it is under the track so I think that it is a card for that card sort in the game. Meaby you can use all the card for all the track. That would be pretty cool![up]

Perhaps they just wanted to show off one of their RMC models after showing the Coaster Head Club some comparable concepts earlier on the same day. [wink]

Is it possible that they are going for a design similar to TPS? In the sense that you choose your track, then choose your train and that there are no restrictions on what train goes on what track (other than the obvious inverted / not inverted trains)..

Or maybe, it's just a train on a track to demonstrate it.. They could have designed a track type, a train and put it together to see how the mechanism works..

That's what I thought while reading this thread.

Maybe we dont have any limitations (which can be amazing)

I sure hope that's not the case, if it was even possible. The thing RMC/Woodie and Corkscrew trains have in common is that the side wheels (on the wheel bases) are on the inside because of how the track is designed.

And just to clarify, this is an RMC train:

The fact that this means they might have RMCs in the game makes me very excited, though :D

Thinking the same here too..... ;) hahah I notices that too but i was so exited by over all things XDDDD

Itself environmen look is a little bit unrealistic yet but.. we saw images of the development then... we have to be cautious...
