Dev, please read

Okay, I noticed in the newsletter that your shadow banning people for collecting their community goal rewards. Don't you think that's a little harsh? I mean you guys failed to notice that major flaw. And now you punishing peaple for collecting their rewards. I mean let say for example this happened:

Hey! I'm going to hop on tomorrow to go collect my community goal
*Next day* Okay I am arriving at it... wait, why did it just give me a little more than I earned?
O-well! Must be a bug. I'm pretty sure that the devs will do a rollback if its a huge deal

But what do you guys do! You guys decide its a good idea to PUNISH people for using a glitch that they may or may not of noticed. What the heck devs?! Honestly! PLEASE! Tell me in one god dam way that its fair to punish others for your OWN god forsaken mistakes! I'm not even sure if I want to report bugs to you guys anymore. If all your going to do is ban people for unknowingly using them. Like I said! DO A DAM ROLL BACK! Don't ban people and try to cover it up. I really thought you guys respected your community... but now I don't know what to think... I honestly loved the community but now seeing your banning us for your own mistakes I'm not sure if I even want to be apart of Elite anymore... If a dev could please PM me about this issue it would be much appreciated cause I honestly don't want to completely give up and actually try talking to you about this and try to get my respect for you guys back... Please... I don't want to give up on Elite but if this sort of abuse continues I don't know if I could stay...

Uh... I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that people aren't being shadowbanned for that.

There's been rampant cheating in community goals over the last few months - on several occasions those in the Top 5 have had impossibly high contributions, and Frontier have removed those contributions from the totals several times.
I believe it's these cases which are resulting in shadowbans - people using client-side cheats to contribute massive amounts to CGs, not the people who claimed a higher reward than they should have.

I'm sorry but can you quote where is it stated that people were shadow banned for collecting their community goal rewards? All I see there is that people were banned for cheating at the CGs, which does not necessarily mean collecting rewards.

There is bug that cleared everyone and pushed them all to the top... That was what I thought the newsletter was talking about
