News Dev Update and Livestream Info

Hey everyone,

The Horizons beta release date is fast approaching, so the dev team have their heads down and are hard at work.
For that reason we're having to take a break from the livestreams and dev update this week. We're looking forward to everyone getting their hands on the game, so thanks for your patience while we're that tiny bit quieter this week!

I'll still be making noise on Thursday with the educating Ed livestream, we'll have the newsletter on Friday, and other content on the community site as usual - so keep a look out for those. It's just the dev update and livestream that are taking a break.

On another thing, are you planning a big release or media campaign when the consumer VR headsets come out next year? It would be a grand opportunity to market the ED franchise to a lot of people getting into VR for the first time.

We havent seen any SRV driving on ice planets. That is #1 thing i wait most. But maybe they don't want to reveal ice planets before Beta.

I didn't yet see the whole sequence: supercruise ---> orbit cruise ----> landing

i thought ice planets wouldnt be released with the initial release of horizons? it'll be later on in the season? Just rocky airless worlds first i had read awhile back.
