Due to popular request i have put some more effort into expanding and optimizing my CIF run and it quickly turned into a little “traveling salesman” science project. It was quite fun.

So for all in desperate need for CIF, here comes the updated version 2 of the run which features 70 68(!) stops with high yield bases for CIF farming.
The run features:
- CIF drop per base >50%
- Easy and quick scan paths
- No hassle from security
- Jumps between nearly all systems <50ly (only 4 above in first 44 stops!)
- Distance from entry point to base <1500ls
Some tips for time saving on the run:
- Approach planet on 6 sec timer.
- Try to enter orbital cruise (OC) on 10 sec timer and keep it until drop.
- Land as close as possible to first scan point.
- Dismiss your ship right after exit and recall after first scan point. (Don't bother about trespass.)
- Take off immediately after boarding, enter supercruise and throttle to max.
- Alt tab to the spreadsheet when in supercruise for copying (ctrl+c/v works in the galmap!) the next stop.
- Don't scoop on single jumps.
- Use a ship with 49ly+ jump range and equip a discovery scanner.
Again, thanks to CMDR dja and his fellows for the groundworks!
