I still haven't flown a DBS but I plan to get one sometime for fun. They look like they're great.

Asp Scout a bit pricey for me right now tbh, I haven't even got the cash for the basic ship let alone kitting it out!

Then a standard Cobra mkIII may do the trick. It hasn't the downwards visibility that the Asps provide but it has enough internals to have everything needed.

So, Scout owners - recommend me an exploring setup for a scout...

If I were to take my DBS exploring, I'd give it a loadout like this.

However, it's got so few internal slots that you can't have all the necessary scanners and a field maintenance unit. Because of that, I'd be very wary of taking it on an extended deep space voyage. It's just too small.

Just bought a Diamondback Scout with a view to going on a shortish (1000-2000ly) jaunt. Was off work ill yesterday and upon finding a good rare goods route went from 700,000 cr to 3,200,000 cr by first thing this morning.
So I bought the scout ("Bugman", after the Blur song) thinking I'd have enough dosh to kit it out as I wanted...
Big lol. Top class scanner is a million and a half alone!

So, Scout owners - recommend me an exploring setup for a scout...

you might want to fit shields now (instead of an AFMU)
